Welcome to Pop Music Poetry
So, shoot. I decided to start a blog. I'll be showcasing lyrics of popular music of today and the recent past. The goal is to get you to read these lyrics in a different way than you normally think of them. Perhaps this will change your perception of the lyrics. Perhaps it will reaffirm your belief that the lyrics of popular music are trash. It's up to you. My hope is that people of all walks of life can get something out of this.
After the initial batch of pictures, I'll be trying to update the site with one daily. I hope you join me in this voyage through irony, absurdity, and (just maybe) deeper meaning.
